Story
Our Sanfilippo - 1000 Big Feet for Little Feet runners are reuniting and will be running in this year's Pub2Pub to once again raise funds for the SCF. This time they are doing it via Gofundraise. Want to join them? Last year we raised $10,000 with 27 runners, this year we want to double that.
We need lots of Big Feet running for Little Feet, those children battling the fatal childhood disease, Sanfilippo Syndrome
Also running in this event is Allan Donnell, father to Isla (6) and Jude (4) Donnell, who tragically both have Sanfilippo Syndrome.
Sanfilippo Syndrome is a rare and fatal condition that affects almost 2000 babies annually. Life expectancy for Sanfilippo children is just 12 - 20 years. Recent medical advances have altered the devastating reality for Sanfilippo families in Australia. For the first time, promising treatments are emerging that offer real hope to children battling this deadly disease.
